Deepseek ai has emerged as powerful intuitive data intelligence company that potentially affected US and European markets today. Most of world’s top stock market seen a big dip in IT technology companies and related automation industries, Zen tech companies.

On January 20, 2025 with the launch of this AI application US market saw a big dip with more than $1 trillion market cap wiped out. Meta AI, Microsoft copilot, Google Gemini and Open AI’s ChatGPT and entire AI market saw a surge in stock market.

However Meta and Microsoft restrain their markets with a big win in their share values. American market crashed and stocks went to 20% down with the launch of this AI model. In this post I will cover everything you should know and most important details of this startup. Why this is impacting world market? What are jobs and future scope of this model? Is this beneficial for us in any way or just a Hype?

What is Deepseek AI?

Deepseek AI is a Chinese startup company which develops AI model for data intelligence. It is similar to Open AI ChatGPT. Recent advancement in AI technology like Deep fake technology, AI in business, healthcare, travel and in many other industries has seen tremendous growth. Artificial Intelligence is shaping our future in a different way.

Deepseek Tech developed chatbot similar to ChatGPT with a much lower cost about 1/20th of what Open AI, Meta AI and other AI giants spent to develop their AI models. As I have been working on AI tasks for the last three years so I am eligible to answer this question with my experience in AI jobs, potential knowledge of LLM model.

The above development cost is for initial DeepSeek-V3 model and Two new models Deepseek-R1 and Deepseek-R1-Zero itself include R&D cost which could be another million dollars. Again if agencies confirm less development cost then accordingly cost reduction in memory and semiconductor devices will offer customers a 50% to 80% lower prices than what they are paying now.

There are many AI leaders in market but ChatGPT and Deepseek are in news because of cost efficient reasoning models. Google Gemini, Meta AI also provide same service but who doesn’t love free service?

ChatGPT no doubt is reliable for creative writing, general concise search and step by step guide but lacks coding tasks and mathematical computing. It is best for general interaction and information on tips. Premium versions of ChatGPT O1 & O1-Pro are limited to reasoning skills and provide less accurate results.

Model R1 and V3 performs coding tasks at much reduced cost that even paid tools from GPT 4 or any other AI models could not perform. It saves development cost but privacy issues itself become important for security.

Overall no monthly subscriptions cost, no prior coding knowledge to build games, websites make it lucrative choice for many users. Customization is easy as it is free accessible for developers.

My Honest Opinion

I have been working on AI tasks since 2021 and testes and tried Google’s Gemini AI, Microsoft Copilot, Open AI ChatGPT and Deepseek AI so here is my true opinion about this new AI tool.

Deepseek AI focuses on Maths coding while ChatGPT is build for humans everyday tasks like writing, creativity, research, analysis and customer support. It is primarily for daily problem solving. I have been using ChatGPT for years since it launched and its reliability is no doubt GOOD. While Deepseek is new in AI market completely free for developers, coders.

One of major advantages of ChatGPT is their premium models have accuracy three times higher than free versions like GPT 4o, o3-mini etc. It is 30% better in understanding what humans actually want. Incredible results prove its accuracy and reliability.

GPT 4.5 AI update on recent development from OPen AI with 1.8 trillion parameters makes it biggest AI model that focuses primarily on human requirements. It is three times accurate than previous models with 72% human emotions understanding.

Final Thoughts

Writers, researchers and support teams are praising ChatGPT accuracy from a long time. Writers take advantages of creativity, researchers find its analysis trustworthy and support teams find useful for handling customer enquiries.

However Deepseek AI is being praised by Coders, developers as it is best free tool for complex math problem solving. Development cost is another factor which grabbed everyone’s attention as it will lead AI giants to bring down prices dramatically.

Data safety and security concerns make Deepkeek unreliable while developers, coders are trusting and taking advantage of it offline access feature. This is truly AI tech breakthrough which will improve competition in AI development at much lower costs.
